It’s difficult to remain untouched by the great promise of article marketing. Articles are published everywhere across the world wide web: they’ve become fuel for search engines, a source of information and entertainment for web surfers and job opportunities for freelancers. So many people presently enjoy the numerous benefits that the Internet offers through its versatility.
What defines article marketing? Articles! However, writing web content has become more challenging than ever. Everybody asks for original content, but in the rush for good wording and quality paragraphs, the important aspect of informative quality is neglected. Marketers have an interest in ranging high with search engines and attracting traffic to their websites. This is why they’ve reached a solution of compromise: they sacrifice information for the sake of linguistic content originality.
This means that the same idea is said in ten or twenty different ways, and search engines are happy with it. But what about readers? It’s really unpleasant to come across a huge number of materials that just repeat ideas from other sources and so on and so for. The Internet has thus gained a new dimension with article marketing; articles are spun and new versions are created all the time. But quality of information has somehow been compromised!
Although my opinion here may be considered biased in respect to article marketing, articles and their publication, it only appears to be so. The other party’s standpoint is clear and justified. Nobody can blame marketers for trying to cope with the high competition and the pressure of search engines. They generate content and comply with the rules of search engines. Period! The checkup of information is actually impossible at this level.
It is only for the reader or Internet surfer to choose those materials that are really interesting and innovative in content. A query that ends up with tons of similar results will hardly help someone in search of more sensible materials. Lots of bloggers, writers and freelancers now feel that there will be a moment when this ‘uncontrolled’ expansion will know a halt. At such a time, article marketing, articles and traffic building will have to be redefined.
This can happen any time now if there is a contraction of the Internet, instead of the normal growth that we’ve become used to. Don’t take it as a warning or as a ‘Doomsday’ message, because it’s not. I mean it just as an objective observation of where things stand with web business promotion through article marketing.
