- Keywords in Heading
- Keywords in body text-especially near the beginning
- Keywords in “description” and “keyword” meta tags
- Keywords in “alt” tags
- Keywords in text links
- Keywords in inbound text links
- Popularity of other sites linking to yours should be high
- Do not keyword stuff
